CAD Software for 3D Airside Design, Planning and Operations

Transoft Solutions Inc., developers of transportation engineering design software, has announced the latest version release for the AutoTURN suite of products. The industry-leading vehicle swept path analysis and turn simulation software, AutoTURN and its 3D counterpart, AutoTURN Pro 3D, have been updated with enhanced features that provide customers with an expanded feature set to better account for spatial requirements for unique vehicle loads and shapes when designing in a 2D or 3D environment.

New Tools for Engineering Challenges
Engineers in the transportation, civil and public works field can look forward to enhancements that dramatically reduce time and costs on their upcoming transportation projects. Some of the major features include:

• The latest standard vehicle libraries from NACTO (North American City Transportation Officials) plus additional libraries from the European and the Asia Pacific region including Australia.
• Model a vehicle’s outermost outline with a protruding load or shape to evaluate clearances.
• Track the highest or widest clearance points in 3D of oversize loads to check for obstructions along a path.
• Evaluate conflict areas by viewing the cross sections along a 3D vehicle swept path.
• Full compatibility with Autodesk® AutoCAD® and AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2016 and ZWSOFT® ZWCAD® 2015 platforms.

Availability
AutoTURN and AutoTURN Pro 3D 9.1 is available for purchase now in English, French, Spanish and German languages. Transoft Solutions AutoTURN MAP (Maintenance Assurance Program) subscribers have already been sent their free version upgrade.
