ROSE Simulation and Imtradex

During the last two years ROSE Simulation did two exceptional projects building up their AMOS Tower Simulation Suite. Customers are Oro Navigacija – European Air Navigation Service Provider for the Lithuanian air space and the Bahrain Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications – Civil Aviations Affairs – the Bahrain ANSP.

Both simulation projects incorporated different working positions (next page for more) and an ultra-realistic 3D view of the airports. In total 5 different airports where digitally re-build and included in the AMOS tower simulation for a highly effective training. Imtradex provided the voice communication equipment for both projects. The AirTalk® Family provides state-of-the-art communication devices, incl. the capabilities to be integrated via USB into the overall system from ROSE Simulation.

The key advantage lies in the user-centric design of the components. Training with the operational devices plays a crucial role, providing enhanced usability and optimizing training effectiveness for the ATCOs.

By familiarizing themselves with their daily tools more rapidly, they can perform their tasks with higher efficiency and utmost safety, even in demanding situations. This aligns perfectly with the objective of the ROSE Simulation Software suite, which aims to train the right actions and promote intuitive behaviour among ATCOs.

Especially the project in the middle east was very specific as the operational headset, an AirTalk® 3000, needed to be integrated from the analogue VCS system into the digital simulation world. This was made with the innovative AirTalk® Dongle.
