Boston Logan International Airport Completes Upgrade of GateKeeper Systems’ Commercial Vehicle Management Software

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 1, 2011—GateKeeper Systems, Inc., a leader in commercial vehicle management and parking access control systems, today announced that Boston Logan International Airport has completed an upgrade of the GateKeeper Commercial Vehicle Management (CVM) Software  to manage taxicab and limousine activity at the airport.

Logan installed GateKeeper’s CVM software in 2009 to manage the flow of taxis and limousines in and out of the airport.  The system integrates with Boston’s FastLane system, so taxis and limousines can use their FastLane account at the airport.  The airport is relocating both taxis and limousines to new holding facilities. As part of this project, the airport is creating a significant number of new features in the CVM software designed to automate the dispatching process.

GateKeeper's  CVM software is part of an RFID-based system that automates many of the manual operational and administrative processes required to provide transportation for passengers arriving and leaving an airport.
