XXL and X-Slim Screens
At this year’s Airport Show in Dubai, CONRAC will be showcasing the latest and so far largest addition to their new dust-protected Public Display series. The 6172 PD features a screen diagonal of 72inches (183cm) offering an active screen area almost twice the size of a 42 inch screen. Based on the same innovative design concept as the 42, 46 and 55 inch versions, the display module is entirely sealed and docks-on to the separate control box by means of a special connector. Designed for large-scale signage, the 6172 PD features direct LED backlighting which guarantees superior image performance with excellent contrast and brightness ratio.
Further product launch will be a slim-bezel series, based on the latest Edge-LED technology. On display will be the ultra-slim 47inch (119cm) monitor type 6047 BD.

Mobile App for CONRAC FIDS
CONRAC will be demonstrating the latest feature of the Passenger Information System Software Suite maXcs®. The browser based web-tool DMU (Device Monitoring Utility) has now been implemented for mobile use with smartphones or touchpads based on android technology.
The mobile application greatly eases monitoring and service of the passenger information system. webDMU allows the administrator to monitor and control the display devices connected to the Information-System from any place he or she chooses, simply by starting the mobile application and logging into the system.
The mobile application enables to read actual screenshots from different devices, display a status overview of all installed devices, and retrieve status information of selected devices. Furthermore, the display can be switched on or off and rebooted. The obvious advantage of the mobile applications is more flexibility and easier access.
