Copperchase: Air Traffic Control Systems

Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) which is located on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus has signed a contract with Copperchase to upgrade its ATC Data System. The original installation by Copperchase was executed some 10 years ago and Copperchase are delighted that the ATC staff at the airport have decided to continue their partnership (for another 10 years?).

The original ATC Data System installed at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport was an AFTN Messaging System with simple Flight Strip Printing, the new system to be installed in September 2010 provides the same facilities utilising the Copperchase Flight Data Management System (FDMS). The FDMS allows the airport to interface with a multitude of ATC Support and Collaborative Decision Systems such as Radar Data Processors, Billing and Information Displays.
