Copperchase: Air Traffic Control Systems

Copperchase has completed the final element in the Mongolian ATC Messaging Project with the installation of its ATC Message Clients (AFTERM) at 10 of the countries domestic airports. The ATC Message Switch that was installed last year was upgraded to support AFTN message exchange over TCP/IP networks. Each of the national airport ATC Messaging Clients were connected via a VSAT WAN offering the Internet Protocol Suite (commonly known as TCP/IP) which is the set of communications protocols used for the Internet and other similar networks
