CS has been awarded a contract to provide the French ANSP with a new VoIP VCS for the main APP/TWR centers (CATIA programme)

French Air Navigation Service Provider DSNA has awarded the CS Group-Frequentis consortium with the 20 year CATIA frame-contract to a main and back-up IP-based radio/telephone Voice Communication System (VCS). CS Group is prime contractor, Frequentis being co-contractor.
The main and back-up VCS will use the new full IP Transmitters/Receivers deployed in France.
The system is sized for 64 Working Position, and enables 96 radio channels including 32 dual coverage channels, and 128 simultaneous phone calls.
The VCS system will be deployed on 14 sites located in metropolitan France (Bordeaux, Paris Orly, Nice,…) and French oversea territories.
This organization benefits from a successful cooperation between experienced teams for more than 25 years in France.
CS will provide its VoIP product: CSoIP (Communication and Security over IP), an IP-based integrated secured VCS solution compliant with EUROCAE ED 137 standard.
