Deerns - NAG appoints Anke Matijssen as Member of the Board

Anke Matijssen (Manager Airports at Deerns) was appointed Member of the Board of the NAG (Netherlands Aerospace Group) as of December. She was nominated by the current Board, following which her appointment was approved by the members during a members’ meeting on 7 December.

Matijssen: “Membership of the NAG is important because it is the industry association for all Dutch companies active in aviation. It makes us as companies stronger internationally.”

Matijssen (41) has extensive experience in the field of both national and international airports. She is thus able to support both Dutch and international clients in the realisation of their projects. As manager of the Airports Advisory Group, Matijssen supervises a team of consultants that carries out work within the Department of Airports from strategic to detailed design, thereby implementing modern technologies and the latest developments.

About NAG
One of the goals of the NAG is to improve the position of its members in the international playing field. In order to do so, the NAG initiates activities to explore foreign markets with its members. Trade missions and participating in exhibitions are the most used tools to reach this goal. The aim is to create business opportunities and – by doing so – improve their competitiveness. The NAG has opened offices in Brazil, France and Turkey in order to support its members more effectively.
