Design and Manufacture Live and Training Voice Communication Systems for ATC Environments

Troy have supplied a second two position portable training VCS to NATS International for use in overseas training.

The first system, supplied three years ago, is still in service, but by using the latest integrated operator panels it has been possible to provide a new system that is much lighter and more compact, very important with systems that travel around the world.  Operator panels used on this system are VCS9808-03,  as supplied with Live ATC systems requiring a 12.1" touch screen.

Each position is contained in a single standard flight briefcase and has two footswitches and two headsets.  One position is manned by two pseudo pilots.  The student and an instructor work from the other position. The two positions are interconnected only by a single Cat 5e cable. 

Functionality includes three direct access telephone lines, three radio frequencies, and  a private Instructor/Pilot intercom link.
