Abu Dhabi – Mid Field Terminal Complex

The International Airport Midfield Complex is integral to the Abu Dhabi 2030 development plan. The Emirate has set out to transform the desert into the ‘Garden of the Gulf’. The terminal design responds to its natural environment, while meeting the needs of the rapidly expanding capital. Close collaboration with Kohn Pederson Fox (KPF), ADAC and NACO has resulted in one of the biggest and most advanced airport terminals in the world. The design reflects the grandeur and sophistication of its location. The ambition underlying the creation of this world class terminal has pushed the envelope for all involved. We are proud to be part of this development and confident the terminal will reset the standards for terminal design. Deerns has the responsibility for the design of the ICT and Security Systems as well as the Apron and Aircraft Handling Systems.
