Falk-Petersen has occupied several managerial positions in Norwegian aviation and the armed forces. As operative director of SAS Norway he was responsible for operations and aircraft safety, amongst other things. Falk-Petersen was educated as a fighter pilot in the USA and at the Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy.
CHC Helikopter Service is a part of one of the world’s largest helicopter services companies, CHC Helicopter, and is with a fleet of 31 helicopters the largest helicopter operator on the Norwegian continental shelf.
“In Dag Falk-Petersen Avinor has acquired a CEO with considerable managerial experience and good knowledge of aviation. Avinor is faced with major operative and structural challenges and opportunities.
