Michael Kraft new Director Corporate Communications at DFS

On 1 November 2010, Michael Kraft became the new Director of Corporate Communications at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH. In his new position, he reports directly to the Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors, Dieter Kaden.

Prior to joining DFS, the 47-year-old was Head of Communications Europe at the speciality chemicals company Clariant International.

Since 1995, he has held various leadership positions in the field of communications, such as at the semiconductor memory producer Qimonda AG and the chemicals companies Hoechst AG, Aventis S.A. and Celanese AG.

The structure of the DFS Corporate Communications department will not change, and Axel Raab will remain the press spokesman.

DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH, the German air navigation service provider, is a State-owned company under private law and has 5,800 employees. DFS ensures the safe and punctual flow of air traffic over Germany. Staff coordinate up to 10,000 aircraft movements in German airspace every day, and nearly three million movements every year.
