Doorway Air Curtains for Commercial, Retail and Industrial Applications

As part of its expansion of the Designer Range of air curtains, Thermoscreens has launched the Designer PHV. The Designer PHV range is aimed at the needs of architects and designers for specifications where aesthetics and performance are of the utmost importance.

The Designer PHV range was developed to provide enhanced performance, ease of use and energy saving. These units have been designed to provide installation flexibility – they can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. Units are available in electric, LPHW or ambient variants. Vertical units have the ability to handle door widths up to 2.5 metres and horizontal units can be mounted up to a maximum of 3.5 metres.

In keeping with enhanced performance, the units can be fitted with a quick -fit speed controller that allows for lower fan speeds and varied mounting heights. The units can be finished in a polished or brushed stainless steel and they can be individually painted to customer’s preference.

The Designer PHV range is also available with the Ecopower Controller, which can be set into ‘auto-mode’ to ensure consistent comfort levels are maintained, or alternatively can be manually controlled.

The Designer PHV Vertical Range of air curtains incorporates turning vane technology, which enables the curtains to produce a more uniform air velocity and airflow across the length of the discharge grille. The turning vane system effectively fills in low velocity areas, thus promoting additional comfort and performance.
