On Inter Airport Europe (Munich Trade Fair) Spijkstaal will show their concept model in the series of electric tow tractors, the Spijkstaal 306/308. This new 3-wheel prototype can be the basis for future models 3-6-8-10 ton tow tractors and include many new features.

The Spijkstaal 3-wheel series tow tractors are very beloved because of the excellent properties, the great stability and the indestructible quality. The 306 and 308 tow tractors can be used for towing loads up to 6,000 kg (13,227 lb) and 8,000 kg (17,636 lb) on generally flat floors and ramps.

Why a new electric tow tractor?
Spijkstaal developed this new electric tow tractor from a user perspective. With this new 3-wheel model it’s possible to change the battery both horizontally and vertically. For some of our customers it is a lot easier when they can change the battery both ways. Therefore we integrated these possibilities into one chassis. Spijkstaal is the first manufacturer worldwide to introduce two ways of battery changing in one vehicle. There are also new features on the this model, the most import are: LED lights, improved ergonomics, IP65 rated drive control and electronic dashboard.
