ElectroAir is heading to Lisbon this September for GSE Expo Europe 2026, taking place from 15 to 17 September at FIL Lisbon, Portugal. The exhibition brings together GSE manufacturers, airports, airlines, ground handlers and other aviation professionals to exchange experience, explore new equipment and discuss the future requirements of ground operations.
For ElectroAir, this year’s participation will be particularly special. 2026 marks our 20th anniversary, and GSE Expo Europe gives us the opportunity to celebrate this milestone together with the customers, partners and aviation professionals who have been part of our journey since 2006.
Why GSE Expo Europe matters to ElectroAir
Ground support requirements are changing quickly. Airports and ground handlers are looking for equipment that can support increasingly diverse fleets while improving operational efficiency, reducing emissions, simplifying maintenance and integrating more effectively with airport infrastructure.
GSE Expo Europe was created as a dedicated meeting point between GSE suppliers and operators, with a strong focus on new equipment, practical applications and the challenges facing modern ramp operations.
For ElectroAir, participating is therefore about much more than presenting individual products.
It is an opportunity to meet existing customers face to face, understand new projects and operational requirements, and discuss where ground support infrastructure is heading next. It also allows our engineering and sales experience to connect directly with the people using and purchasing GSE every day.
Instead of discussing equipment only through specifications, drawings or online meetings, visitors can see the solutions themselves and speak directly with our team about how they could be applied to a particular aircraft fleet, airport stand, hangar, MRO facility or ground handling operation.
Six ElectroAir solutions coming to Lisbon
This year, ElectroAir will bring a selection of equipment representing several important areas of aircraft ground support: mobile ground power, electric GSE, fixed airport infrastructure and equipment for testing and maintenance.
Among the units presented will be the APA-10 Hybrid Ground Power Unit, a compact 28.5 VDC solution developed particularly for helicopters, business jets and aviation environments where mobility and compact dimensions are important. The APA-10 combines an engine for continuous power supply with integrated batteries for aircraft engine starting.
Visitors will also be able to see the EAC-PBB, ElectroAir’s bridge-mounted 400 Hz Ground Power Unit. Designed for installation beneath a Passenger Boarding Bridge, the EAC-PBB provides aircraft power directly at the stand while helping reduce the amount of mobile equipment required around the aircraft.
Two ElectroAir load banks will also be presented: the EAL-28 and EAL-400. Load banks are an important part of GPU maintenance, commissioning and performance verification. The EAL-28 is designed for 28 VDC GPU testing, while the EAL-400 provides 400 Hz AC power simulation and calibration for ground power equipment.
Another solution visitors will be able to explore is the Mini PIT System. Installed underground, the Mini PIT provides access to aircraft power directly from the aircraft parking position while keeping ground infrastructure compact and organised. Depending on configuration, the system can provide 400 Hz AC or 28.5 VDC aircraft power.
ElectroAir will also present the APA-ECO-DC, our fully electric battery-powered 28.5 VDC Ground Power Unit. Developed for operations where reducing local emissions and noise is a priority, the APA-ECO-DC provides aircraft ground power without the need for a diesel engine during operation.
Together, these units demonstrate different approaches to the same objective: providing aircraft and ground operations with reliable power while adapting the solution to the actual operating environment.
From compact mobile units and battery-powered equipment to fixed passenger boarding bridge installations, underground PIT infrastructure and testing equipment, visitors will be able to discuss several different parts of the ground power ecosystem in one place.
Meet the ElectroAir sales team
A major reason for participating in GSE Expo Europe is the opportunity for focused, practical conversations.
Choosing GSE is rarely simply a question of selecting a model from a catalogue. Aircraft type, required output, duty cycle, available infrastructure, climate, mobility requirements, maintenance strategy, environmental targets and future expansion plans can all influence the right configuration.
Our sales team will be available throughout the three exhibition days to discuss these requirements directly with visitors.
Whether you are planning a new airport stand, modernising existing ground power infrastructure, replacing ageing GPUs, moving towards battery-powered equipment or simply comparing possible solutions for a future project, we invite you to bring your requirements to the ElectroAir team.
The goal is to make every meeting useful and efficient: understand the application, identify the key operational requirements and discuss which equipment or configuration could provide the best fit.
Join us on 16 September to celebrate 20 years of ElectroAir
This year, however, we have one more reason to meet in Lisbon.
ElectroAir is celebrating 20 years.
Since 2006, the company has grown from an engineering business in Estonia into an international manufacturer of aviation ground power and GSE solutions serving airports, airlines, MROs, ground handlers and defence operators around the world.
GSE Expo Europe gives us the perfect opportunity to mark this milestone together with the industry. On 16 September, we invite customers, partners, colleagues and friends of ElectroAir to join our anniversary celebration during the exhibition.
For us, the anniversary is not only an opportunity to look back at the equipment and technologies developed over the past two decades. It is also an opportunity to thank the people and organisations that have worked with us, challenged us with new requirements and helped shape ElectroAir into the company it is today. And, naturally, it is a chance to look forward.
Aviation ground operations continue to evolve towards greater electrification, smarter airport infrastructure and more efficient use of ground equipment. ElectroAir will continue developing practical solutions around these changing requirements while maintaining the principles that have guided the company since 2006: engineering quality, reliability, serviceability and equipment designed around real operating needs.
Visit ElectroAir to explore the APA-10, EAC-PBB, EAL-28, EAL-400, Mini PIT and APA-ECO-DC, meet our sales team and discuss your upcoming ground support requirements.
And most importantly, join us on 16 September as we celebrate 20 years of ElectroAir together. We look forward to meeting you in Lisbon!
See You in Lisbon!
