TEC Huenert is based in Melbeck in the northern part of Germany, located 60 km southeast of the City of Hamburg.

TEC Hünert's main field of activity is the development and manufacturing of airport ground support equipment with over 30 years experience.

Our range of products comprises all kinds of ground support equipment. From container-dollies and luggage trailers over passengerstairs, VIP-transport-vehicles and other complex vehicles with TEC Hünert self-constructed chassis up to sophisticated Rescuestair Systems.

As the first manufacturer in Europe TEC Huenert developed, produced and delivered a rescuestair for airport fire services which is also suitable for use for aircraft of the size of an Airbus A 380.

This rescuestair is designed for evacuating passengers from aircraft after an accident and also for the access of rescue teams in such cases. It is also conceivable to use them in the case of acts of terrorism. The rescuestair is often used when passengers in the aircraft fall ill when it is still on the apron.

The TEC Hünert Rescuestair in its various versions and with or without additional features is becoming increasingly the standard for airports. It is just as easy to operate as the various types of passenger stairs but also provides increased comfort and safety for the passengers.
