Jewers Doors Limited is a privately owned, family company dedicated to the design, manufacture and installation of specialist industrial doors and aircraft hangar doors.
 
We manufacture the world renowned Esavian aircraft hangar doors and the Phoenix industrial door range.
Jewers Doors operates from 2,400 square metres of modern factory and office space in Bedfordshire – a beautiful English county north of central London. We employ around 50 people to design and manufacture door systems which incorporate the very latest concepts and technology.

More than 50 per cent of Jewers Doors' output is exported – the principal overseas markets being the Middle East, the Far East and Europe. The rest of our output is for customers in the United Kingdom.

Established in 1983, Jewers Doors is a mature company with a strong and innovative management team as well as a highly experienced workforce. We are constantly coming up with new and original design ideas to maintain Jewers Doors as the acknowledged world leader in this very specialised industry.
 
Many of the largest aircraft hangar doors in the world are branded with the name Esavian – a name whose origins date back nearly a century.
 
There are no standard sizes or generic specifications for Esavian hangar doors. Instead, each door is designed and manufactured to meet project-specific requirements such as the size of opening, climatic conditions, wind pressure loadings, architectural features and so on. For this reason, unlike the Phoenix range of doors, typical technical specifications and drawings are not included here. Esavian doors can be manufactured for any opening between 6 metres and 40 metres high (higher if required). The opening width is unlimited. Recent projects include doors 584m wide by 26m high in Dubai. • TYPE 126 – Straight sliding steel hangar door for openings 6 metres high and over, of unlimited width. Uses any conventional cladding system.
• TYPE 127 – Straight sliding insulated steel hangar door for openings up to 12 metres high and unlimited width. Leaves are clad with our composite cladding system from the Phoenix range.
• TYPE 1200 – Bottom rolling aluminum sliding folding doors for openings over 8 metres and up to 18 metres high.
• Flatfold – Bottom rolling steel sliding folding door for openings up to 30 metres wide by 8 metres high.
