ewo brings a new glow to the metropolis of Vienna
Vienna is pursuing an ambitious plan: to become the city with the highest quality lighting, according to the Municipal Department for Public Lighting. ewo was able to assert itself in two of the EU-wide calls for tender and will provide a part of the 158,000 vintage and modern luminaires by 2026.
Utilising the latest lighting technology, this LED conversion achieves energy savings of more than half of what was previously required, whilst delivering a precise illumination.
Vienna shines in a new light, from the historical city centre to busy bridges such as the Reichsbrücke; the public space becomes a feel-good place.
