ewo - News

Years of innovation at ewo have driven our company to reinvent not just usage of the humble LED, but the way that it is tested and demonstrated.

Many of our loyal customers’ knowledge of lighting distribution is substantial, but we strive to better demonstrate the potential for new products, to excite lighting designers, architects and specifiers alike.

In addition to stories on our most recent projects, we are excited to introduce new, functional methods for testing the power of LED illumination, by holding it in the palm of your hand.

Best wishes from your ewo team

ewoSphere

ewo sales agents are now equipped with the ewoSphere, a new demo kit that brings the power and versatility of LED right to our customers.

Experienced clients will be able to see and test new distributions from our A-Series lenses without having to travel and see the luminaires in situ. Anyone not familiar with the scope of possibility with LED technology, will have a full, working lens in their hand, offering a clear, unequivocal demonstration of the impact of LEDs on their next project.

ÖBB terminal Wolfurt

The Wolfurt shipping container terminal provides high-performance cargo handling for the loading industry, as part of ÖBB’s wider eight-terminal service infrastructure. ewo provided large area lighting solutions in cooperation with Europoles, who provided the high mast lowering systems. The design for this project was done by the consulting office A3 Jenewein Ingenieurbüro GMBH, for the 54,000 m² site which provides overhead, cooling and heating, SOLAS weighing, depot management, container cleaning and customs support.
