QuinTech Engineering Innovations has changed its company name to “Type22”.

This decision was made to put extra force behind the company’s new strategy and international expansion plans. After 6 years of combining baggage handling consultancy services with product development, the board of Type22 made the choice to leave consultancy behind and now focus completely on delivering innovative baggage handling products. With, for example, BAGCHECKTM widely installed at London Heathrow Terminal 5 and Scan&Fly® under investigation at several airports worldwide, Type22 is confident that now is the right time for this strategic adjustment. As part of its new strategy, Type22 also recently secured capital investment by Percival Participations B.V., TIIN Capital and VDL B.V. The investment will be used to strengthen Type22’s marketing and R&D efforts and supports the company’s ambition to become a global leader in self bag drop solutions.
