Next Generation Public Displays

CONRAC introduces an innovative new display concept: New housing design, new diagonals, new panel technology, new features and even more flexibility. What remains unchanged is the reliability and durability of CONRAC is well-known for.

The new Public Display series uses the latest state-of-the-art Edge LED panels. The first models available will be a 42inch and a 55inch Public Display (106/140cm), followed by a 46inch version (117cm). Due to the new panel technology, the display depth as well as the front bezel width could be considerably reduced allowing a slim and stylish design.

Vital aspects are the reduced power consumption of the new displays as well as the new IP protection concept. CONRAC’s new 61xx PD series combines a slim design with an IP54 protection. The display unit is entirely sealed, leaving no chance for the ingress of dust and moisture.     

However, the slim design has not been realised on expense of casing’s robustness which is a requirement for installation in public areas, particularly if the displays are mounted within reach. Vested with a solid aluminium frame and safety glass front panel, the new displays are ideally suited for public environment.

To avoid accidental or deliberate tampering, all external controls and connections are out of reach.

For easy installation the fixing points are compatible with the previous model. Moreover, VESA standard fixing points have been added.

The new series provides a further very innovative feature. The actual IP54 protected display unit and the so-called “electronics box”, which houses the electronics including the power supply, are designed as separate devices. The electronics box simply plugs into the display unit, enabling a quick and effortless exchange of the display’s electronics. This solution unites all advantages of a fully integrated solution and the easy maintenance and flexibility of an external one.

For utmost flexibility, the electronic box is available in different versions, a monitor version as well as integrated IPCs and controller boards can be supplied.
