CONRAC MENA, local subsidiary of the leading German supplier of Flight Information Display Systems and Public Displays, CONRAC GmbH, will be showcasing the latest developments for public information systems.

Tens of thousands of public displays in over 200 airports and other system installations worldwide clearly prove the success of this strategy.

At this year’s Airport Show CONRAC will be demonstrating their latest range of Public Displays with a special focus on the brand- new dust-protected Public Displays based on Edge LED technology.

Based on an entirely new, very innovative display concept, the new 61xx PD series offers a multitude of advantages: Reduced power consumption, a new IP protection concept, new diagonals, new panel technology, new features and even more flexibility. What remains unchanged is the reliability and durability CONRAC is well-known for. The first models available are a 42inch and a 55inch Public Display (106/140cm) which will be followed by a 46inch version (117cm).

In public environments, interactivity is a feature which is more and more in demand. In many applications, information counters and printed information boards are substituted by interactive information screens. CONRAC will be showing an interactive solution realised for outdoor applications. The modular display concept allows maximum flexibility regarding the protection rating, use of different electronics, the integration of various options as well as full customisation of the product.

Further highlight of the presentation are different types and formats of Public Displays in Stretched Format which are ideally suited for use in wayfinding systems. Substituting static signs, these “digital signs” allow flexible use, not only to point out directions, but also for crowd control, e.g. to divert passengers to less frequented hand luggage control or customs counters.
