Low Power Technology: CONRAC’s latest addition to their dust-protected Public Display series is a 72inch (183cm) screen featuring a low power Direct-LED backlighting. Designed for large-scale signage, the 6172 PD guarantees superior image performance with excellent contrast as well as brightness ratio and very low power consumption. Based on the same innovative design concept as the 42, 46 and 55 inch screens, the display module is entirely sealed and docks-on to the separate control box by means of a special connector.

Further product launch, also based on the latest low power technology, is CONRAC’s elegant new slim-bezel display. The 47inch (119cm) screen uses an Edge-LED panel.

New Industrial ARM-Board: It’s not just using the latest panel technology, also the “far side” side of the display screens, the electronics which makes it all happen, has to be taken care of. CONRAC presents a highly innovative industrial ARM-Board based on Quad ARM Cortex A9 with embedded Linux. The tiny board, designed for integration in the Public Display series, features a power consumption of less than 10W.

A touch easier: Conrac will be showcasing the latest feature of Conrac’s Passenger Information System Software Suite maXcs®. The browser based web-tool DMU (Device Monitoring Utility) has now been implemented for mobile use with smartphones or touchpads based on android technology. The mobile application greatly eases monitoring and service of the passenger information system. webDMU allows the administrator to monitor and control the display devices connected to the Information-System from any place he or she chooses, simply by starting the mobile application and logging into the system. The obvious advantage of the mobile applications is more flexibility and easier access.
