DATA MODUL has won the tender for renewing the existing Universal Display System (UDS) in Munich Airport’s Terminal 1.

The German display manufacturer has been awarded to replace the existing displays with its series of professional CONRAC displays. The tender is for replacement, installation and commissioning of about 550 42inch/106cm displays in the modules A-E and hall F of Terminal 1 as well as in the Munich Airport Center (MAC).

The expectations and requirements of the 5-STAR rated Munich Airport as one of the world’s most sustainable airports were also reflected in the tender for the FIDS display replacement. The CONRAC professional display series NARROW BEZEL impressed not only with highest quality standards and leading edge technology enabling unrestricted 24/7 operation, but also with its superior energy efficiency.

In addition to the supply of the new displays, also covering the installation and commissioning, the project includes a framework agreement for the supply of further identical screens within a period of 5 years.
