It’s with immense pride that we announce our continued support for Proud & Diverse Cumbria’s annual celebration of love, equality, and acceptance: Pride by the Harbourside 2024 in Whitehaven.
As a company deeply committed to embracing diversity and inclusivity, we believe everyone deserves a space to express themselves freely, and we’re proud to support this inclusive event!
Proud and Diverse Cumbria’s Mission
Proud and Diverse Cumbria is a volunteer led Community Interest Company (CIC) with a focus on being a strong, PROUD, supportive voice for Cumbria’s DIVERSE communities.
Their objectives include promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, providing support and information services, and fostering safe spaces for all individuals to celebrate their identities.
Why we support Pride
Fly-by NUNES proudly celebrates Pride Month, showing solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, honouring diversity and inclusion. We firmly believe that everyone deserves to be valued, respected, and celebrated for their authentic selves. Events like Pride by the Harbourside are vital in creating safe spaces where individuals from the LGBTQ+ community and diverse backgrounds can freely express themselves, regardless of orientation, disability, gender, race, culture or social barriers. Despite progress, LGBTQ+ individuals still face discrimination and persecution globally. We are committed to playing our part in advocating for equality and human rights.
Our Involvement in Pride 2024
Not only is our Director a committee member of Proud & Diverse Cumbria, but we are also proud sponsors of this year’s event.
