Frequency Converters for Airport Applications

FCX Systems received a Purple – Very Good rating on the Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) for the completion of the Year 1 of the multi-year contract to manufacture Power Supplies for the U.S. Navy. The power supplies will be used for aircraft maintenance and pre-flight operations on U.S. Aircraft Carriers.

In the first year of the contract FCX manufactured a quantity 235 power supplies, which was more than twice the orginal estimated quantity of units for year 1. FCX delivered all units early which allowed the Navy to finish installations ahead of schedule. The Assessing Official reported: "A large number of Power Supplies were to be delivered in a relatively short time frame. All of the units were delivered early with superior quality, which is difficult to maintain with large orders and a short time frame."

FCX is an engineering driven company that takes pride in providing robust high quality equipment that meets or exceeds customer specifications. Regarding Product Performance, the customer reported in the CPAR that "the contractor (FCX) was very responsive and eager to provide quality products in order to meet Navy needs. The PSs demonstrated superior design and construction that satisfied the parameters that were very difficult to quantify in specifications."

FCX Systems is currently manufacturing units under Year 2 of the contract.
