Gatic launches new and improved Drainage Calculator

Gatic, part of Alumasc Water Management Solutions (AWMS), has launched the latest version of its industry-leading online Drainage Calculator. The updated calculator, which allows architects, specifiers and civil engineers to design and quantify all of their surface water drainage requirements, now features Gatic Kerbdrain, and is available for use immediately.

The updates have enhanced the calculator’s performance, with the following benefits providing an improved user experience:

• Slotdrain Hydraulic surface water drainage calculation in either metric or imperial units
• Allows correct specification of Gatic Kerbdrain to ensure the channel is designed to meet predetermined rainfall designs
• Factors in the permeability of differing finishes including concrete slab, asphalt pavements, brick and block
