I’m delighted announce that Menzies has won the Ground Handling contracts to handle Aer Arran at Glasgow and Bristol International Airports and have retained the existing contract for another 3 years at Edinburgh. Aer Arran recently became a franchise partner to Aer Lingus and are to operate as ‘Aer Lingus Regional’ in all these airports.

When Aer Arann operated its first commercial flight in 1970, it’s ambition was to provide a reliable, value for money air service to 1,000 islanders, located in Inishmore, off the west coast of Ireland. Today Aer Arann operates over 600 flights per week, across 40 routes in Ireland to the UK and Europe. Under the franchise agreement with Aer Lingus Aer Arann will operate 12 routes from Dublin and Cork . The routes will include current Aer Lingus and Aer Arann routes as well as 3 new routes

Jason McKelvie at GLA, Jo Haggan at BRS and Fraser Burns at EDI will start ‘Aer Lingus Regional’ operations on 28th March and are very pleased to have secured this most welcome business for their stations.
