HYDRO Systems is pleased to announce the signing of a Licensing Agreement with its valued customer, Rolls-Royce plc on the 15th of October 2015, to deliver Trent XWB Transportation Equipment to its customer base.
Managing Director Peter Prinz stated “HYDRO Systems is delighted to reaffirm out strong relationship with Rolls-Royce, and look forward to working together to meet the high expectations and requirements of both Rolls-Royce plc and its customer base”.
This equipment will be manufactured and delivered from the HYDRO USA facility in Seattle, but will also utilise supporting functions from its Headquarters in Biberach, Germany, and from its office in Derby, UK. This agreement allows for HYDRO Systems to build on the existing rate production out of Seattle, to support the growing requirements for the high selling Trent XWB engine.
The Trent XWB engine is a real success story for Rolls-Royce plc, and the rate of A350 Entry into Services (EIS) is set to increase throughout 2016 and beyond. HYDRO Systems is excited to be part of this journey.
