Ground to Air Communication Antennas & Antenna Systems

This important sector continues to demand solutions for many diverse needs, with air traffic control, both civil and military, being the chief drivers of those needs. Skymasts offer a variety of solutions over the whole of the Ground to Air field, for both VHF and UHF systems, which range from the simple yet high quality Dipole or Ground Plane types, (several with N.A.T.O. accreditation) to our well established 470 series of Dipole and Multi-dipole antennas. This enables customers to have more than one system operating from the same antenna housing, allowing a choice of either pole or flange mounting.

For Extended Range systems, including Directional or Semi-Directional coverage requirements, a comprehensive choice is available, often consisting of arrays of Dipole or Yagi type antennas.  We are able to offer customers systems tailored to their requirements, with radiation pattern predictions as part of the service.

In addition to antennas, we also offer many of the installation needs of a system, including antenna hardware and steelwork, high quality low loss feeder cables with connectors and all necessary clamps, earthing kits, lightning arrestors etc.
