Between 11 and 13 May, Dubai will be hosting a new Airport Show: an event that is especially interesting this year given the significant developments in airport infrastructures in the region. At the Airport Show, Ikusi will be displaying its full suite of solutions designed with two principal objectives in mind: efficient airport management and passenger satisfaction. The proposed solutions are designed to boost the profitability of airport infrastructure, to increase the efficiency of processes and non-airport revenues and to improve security and strategic planning, whilst also improving passenger satisfaction and experiences.

Ikusi has been working in the United Arab Emirates for a number of years now and its public information system is now operative in Abu Dhabi Airport. Called DOLPHIN, this solution comprises a FIDS (Flight Information Display System) that is also compatible with an advertising content module, which increases the profitability of the installation, both directly through advertising revenue, and indirectly through increased commercial activity.

This passenger information solution also includes an automatic PA system that uses both pre-recorded messages and text-to-speech in various languages and dialects, and an information system in interactive kiosks distributed throughout the airport, resulting in improved passenger experience.

It also allows operators to share information with other airport business agents (airlines, handling agents, etc), all on a mobile platform (smartphones, tablets…).

At the same time and with the objective of facilitating the implementation and profitability of the system for the airport operator, DOLPHIN is designed to work in local or remote hosting environments and with operating models tailored to the needs of each client.
