IKUSI - Efficient Airports, Happy Travelers

• The solutions feature the integral platform for optimizing city/town processes, the system for keeping citizens informed, and the solutions for detecting and classifying vehicles, plus the platform to manage citizen safety/security.

• To its proposal for smart cities Ikusi is adding its capability as an integrator which enables it to interconnect the various solutions.

Ikusi will be attending this edition of the Smart City World Congress in Barcelona (18-20 November) to present its offer of solutions for Smart Cities. These proposals are the outcome of the experience and technological knowledge that Ikusi has and which enable a truly intelligent city to be achieved. For decades Ikusi has become specialised in the various processes involved in the day-to-day activities of a city (safety/security, traffic, transport, energy efficiency, etc.) and has now gone a step further by interconnecting all these processes to make cities safer, friendlier, more sustainable and more participatory.

One of the innovations that Ikusi will be presenting is spider, the solution that allows the city authorities to view, measure and manage what is going on in their cities with a holistic approach. Ranging from field data capture to the management of the various pieces of mobility infrastructure and including security/safety, the city’s leisure and health offer, spider monitors all the processes from a single platform which not only offers a global view but also allows the processes to be interrelated so that resources can be coordinated and problems resolved proactively, thus anticipating their appearance. spider offers city managers the analyses and reports they need at any moment by means of key indicators and control panels accessible in real time, even from anywhere by means of mobile devices.

Another of Ikusi’s proposals is dolphin. This is an integral multimodal information solution by Ikusi that ensures an improvement in citizen experience through interactive audiovisual content in the form of information, entertainment or publicity, not only in public spaces like stations and interchange hubs, but also in the private sphere; its dissemination takes place across a whole range of devices like smartphones, tablets, the internet, etc. Based on the data provided by the operational systems, dolphin provides citizens with both visual and audio multimodal information about timetables, services, fares, traffic conditions in real time, works, incidents, etc.

Finally, mention should be made of the eagle & owl suite of solutions that covers vehicle detection and classification, vehicle identification and the integral solution that provides all the data relating to the vehicle in an aggregated way.

A smart project for Donostia-San Sebastian
Ikusi and Donostia-San Sebastian City Council recently signed an agreement to drive forward the transformation of Donostia-San Sebastian into a smart city. kusi will be contributing towards integrating energy and sustainability systems, monitoring the energy balance of various municipal buildings and will be actively collaborating in technology-based enterprise programmes.
