IMAT CHOSEN BY ANTANANARIVO IVATO AIRPORT (MADAGASCAR)

The CMBI consortium (Colas Madagascar and Bouygues Bâtiment International) has selected IMAT Mobiliario y Diseño for the supply of seats for the waiting areas of the new international airport of Antananarivo Ivato (Madagascar).

The new terminal will have an initial capacity of 1.5 million passengers in Phase 1 and is expected to increase to 1.8 million once Phase 2 is completed. The current terminal will also be renovated and dedicated exclusively to domestic flights.

The expansion of this airport represents IMAT’s first project in this country. As for the seat model chosen, CMBI has opted for Master Wood, a seat with a smooth, warm surface, finished in different configurations and lengths.
