Industry Leading Type B Liquid Explosive Detection Systems (LEDS), Bottle Scanners for the Screening of Liquids, Aerosols & Gels (LAGS)

Cobalt Light Systems is pleased to announce today (28^th March 2012) that it has successfully closed a £2.0 million round from existing investors.

The investment was led by Oxford Technology Enterprise Capital Fund LP with co-investments from The Rainbow Seed Fund (managed by MidVen Limited) and the Science and Technology Facilities Council, as well as from angel investors and management.

The funds will be primarily used to expand production of the company’s products including the “Insight100” bottled liquid screening device for airport security, the “TRS100” tablet and capsule analysis tool for pharmaceutical QA/QC and the “RapID” raw materials verification tool for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
