The 2025 fiscal year gave strong tailwinds to the Danish company specialising in air traffic management software.

For the sixth consecutive year, Insero Air Traffic Solutions (IATS) reports the best financial result in the company’s history. EBIT amounted to DKK 13.2 million, representing an increase of DKK 1.9 million compared to 2024, while profit for the year reached DKK 10.4 million, up from DKK 8.9 million in 2024.

“We are very satisfied with the result, which can be attributed to a growth in revenue of 16 percent. In particular, the acquisition of new customers, several larger projects, and sales of new products to existing customers have contributed to this development,” says Michael Houmann Tandrup, CEO of IATS, acknowledging that 2025 was a busy year:

“There have been several long high paced periods, and it is largely due to our employees’ strong efforts and their commitment throughout the year that we have succeeded in reaching the ambitious goals we set for ourselves,” he says.

Flexibility provides competitive advantages
In 2025, IATS delivered mission-critical systems to existing customers such as the Danish Defence, Copenhagen Airports, and different air navigation service providers, including Danish Naviair and Estonian EANS. In addition, new partnerships were established, which IATS expects will generate value in the coming years. However, the competition for customers is fierce, says Michael Houmann Tandrup.

“We operate in a highly competitive market and in tender processes we often face many major players. This is where our specialty in flexible solutions works to our advantage. Our systems integrate with existing back-end systems and allow customers to select only the specific components they need, without having to replace entire systems. These core competencies help set us apart,” he explains.

Danish technology strengthens critical infrastructure
IATS entered 2026 at full speed and according to Chairman of the Board, Erik Borum, the company continues to pursue growth.

“With systems installed at most major Danish airports and a growing international customer base, we demonstrate how Danish technology can help strengthen critical technological infrastructure and improve the efficiency of global air traffic. On this basis, we see significant potential for continued growth, both in terms of financial performance and in expanding our customer base and product portfolio,” says Erik Borum, who is also CEO of Insero, the owner of IATS.

In addition to pursuing growth, IATS will focus on achieving ISO/IEC 27001 certification in 2026.

“The certification is not a requirement, but we want to stay ahead of developments. Though the process is comprehensive, we regard it as a valuable investment in our ability to continue supporting our customers’ needs and thereby strengthening our position,” says Michael Houmann Tandrup.
