What do our customers say about Transeal and defendAir?

"It was a successful trial, and pleasing to note that operationally our staff were very supportive and seemed to welcome the addition of the seal. Not only did it achieve the enhanced security measures that were being sought but it also gave us the ability to identify potential lost sales and alterations to the provisioning of services on board. This then meant that we could readdress those services with our retail partners on board."

Iain Martin,
Supply Chain Director, AlphaLSG Ltd.

"When I was appointed in this role, one of the things that surprised me the most was that the equipment used to secure the carts was similar to those used to secure stock cupboards 15 years ago! In an industry that is so security sensitive, reliance on obsolete technology which does not give any further information than ‘this unit has/has not been interfered with’ is quite incredible and extremely concerning especially as there is such a strong need to ensure we not only protect our stock but also ensure the wellbeing of our people and our customers. Being able to know who was in charge of the stock and exactly when it was opened is incredibly useful when discrepancies occur. The level of information and precision that is possible to obtain is exactly what any security/investigation officer needs to assist in investigations, reducing theft and increasing overall security."

Garry Chisholm,
Asset Protection Coordinator, Monarch Airlines Ltd.

EasyJet embarked on a major fuel saving initiative by sourcing lighter weight trollies for their fleet of 227 airbus aircraft.

The challenge now was to refresh the fleet with 4,240 trolleys which were delivered over a 24 week period inside 17 separate 40 foot sea containers.

"This was a massive logistics challenge as the easyJet aircraft swap between 21 network bases every day. To meet this challenge we needed to engage with logistic experts, STI and Transeal Security, headed up by Paul Lacy, took on this challenge. Working in conjunction with Gate Retail Onboard and easyJet, they delivered this project on time, to budget and with no glitches or delays."

Transeal also managed the disposal of all our old heavy weight equipment.

"It was a pleasure to work with Paul and his team and I would recommend STI and Transeal to other airlines that are planning to implement light weight trollies so that they can reap the cost savings of reduced fuel burn."
