Commencing operations in 1959 with just 5 staff, dnata has played a significant role in the development of Dubai airport where we now handle a colossal 2 million tonnes of freight, 140 different carriers and more than 47 million passengers annually. To do this, dnata employs around 7,000 skilled staff, a fleet of over 6,200 pieces of equipment and some of the most advanced technology in the industry.
dnata is now also rapidly expanding its business internationally. From its first international ground handling operation in Pakistan in 1993, dnata is now represented in seven countries and 18 international airports outside the UAE, covering a geographical range from Australia to the UK.

Airport Show 2013, Dubai, 6th – 8th May 2013
dnata will be Exhibiting at Airport Show 2013 in Dubai at Stand: A115
Launched in 2001 to cater mainly for the Dubai International Airport expansion and the other airport developments in the UAE in general, the Airport Show has since evolved into the key B2B aviation industry event providing the MENA region and Indian Subcontinent with the latest technologies and solutions from around the world.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airlines and Group; the event has with the years gained the support of international industry associations and local government authorities.
Now in its 13th edition, the Airport Show will be collocated with the Global Airport Leaders' Forum, a biennial gathering of high profile aviation regulators and civil aviation authorities (CAAs) from around the world addressing the major challenges in the industry.
