Airport Research Center GmbH (ARC) is an independent provider of professional airport and aviation consulting, featuring planning and decision support services for national and international airport operators as well as airlines, authorities and other organizations.

Our consulting services include planning and optimisation of airport infrastructure and logistic processes. With CAST airport simulation (Comprehensive Airport Simulation Technology) ARC uses its in-house developed 3D simulation software, which has worldwide reputation.

ARC’s interdisciplinary team combines profound aviation expert knowledge, worldwide experience in international projects and the commitment to up-to date technologies.

For the extension of our consulting team in Aachen, we are looking for a project engineer, being responsible for airport simulation studies.

Job Profile

• Organisation and realisation of international simulation and consulting projects
• Setup and calibration of 3D simulation models (terminal and airside)
• Communication and co-operation with clients during the project
• Analysis and visualisation of results, writing of reports and presenting results to the clients

Qualification

• University degree, preferable in engineering (e.g. aviation, construction, architecture or similar)
• Interested in aviation, preferable having knowledge/experience in the aviation sector
• Excellent technical and analytical capabilities
• Profound knowledge of MS Office (primarily Excel)
• Business fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
• Experience in simulation studies is favoured but not mandatory (we offer intensive training on the relevant subjects as well as on the CAST simulation software).
