The three systems are for Nuuk International Airport last year and two systems for Greenland’s two upcoming airports, Qaqortoq Airport and Ilulissat Airport, both scheduled to open later this year. Jotron has delivered communication systems including radios, recorders and VCS to nine airports since 2019 through direct contracts with Mittarfeqarfiit A/S (Greenland Airports). These installations continue Jotron’s long-standing relations with Mittarfeqarfiit, which dates back to 1996.

The current turnkey contract includes complete Jotron communication systems comprising VHF ATC radios, radio control, VCS (RRC-7700), and Ricochet Recorders. This delivery is part of a broader airport modernization program that also encompasses new instrument landing systems and upgraded airfield lighting. The Jotron ATC communication systems are being supplied through COMSA Corporación, a leader in construction and engineering known for delivering innovative, high‑tech infrastructure and sustainable solutions.
