KVM increases efficiency in mission-critical applications

Company Guntermann & Drunck GmbH
Date 02.12.2009

Guntermann & Drunck GmbH currently provides almost 20 variants of KVM switches in the DVI switch sector. Digital dual link or single link video as well as VGA from up to eight computers combined with keyboard, mouse, audio and USB 2.0 can be switched via one console. The uncompressed video display even works for moving images with high resolution. Multi-monitor variants enable the switching of several video channels at the same time.

The most powerful switch, the "DL-MUX4", supports maximum DVI dual link resolutions of 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz. Thanks to special safety features such as the self-monitoring, redundant power supply, the switch is especially suited for mission-critical environments. Moreover, two network connections allow the switch to be integrated into the network. The web interface enables the user to display, monitor and actively query all system conditions of the switch. Critical conditions can therefore be detected and prevented at an early stage.
