L-DCS Installed Across Continents

Damarel is delighted that their world-class Departure Control System – L-DCS – has recently grown further across 4 Continents!

Palm Beach, Florida (PBI) has become the 1^st US site to opt for the hosted version of L-DCS, delivered across a secure Internet channel from Damarel’s UK data centre. Easy set up and fast delivery make L-DCS a compelling solution for airports of any size.

Dakar, Senegal (DAK) has become the 1^st airport in Sub-Saharan Africa to use L-DCS, and highlights our commitment to affordable DCS in the region. Given only 2 days from the date of the order to deployment of the system for testing and acceptance, this project again highlights the flexibility and responsiveness of Damarel. For this project, Damarel remotely installed the system on local servers at Dakar Airport, where it will be used by both ground handling agencies. The system will go fully live when Blaise Diagne International Airport opens in November.

Gan, in The Maldives (GAN) has recently become the 2^nd International Airport in this amazing archipelago! Damarel’s team deployed L-DCS on local servers at Gan, removing the need for WAN links and again highlighting the flexibility of our premier Local DCS. Damarel is excited to grow our presence in the Maldives following the successful use of L-DCS for over 10 years in Male (MLE), where it handles over 500,000 passengers a year.

Leipzig Halle Airport, Germany (LEJ) has teamed our fully hosted L-DCS with both LodeStone and Timatic Autocheck, for a fully integrated departure control and advanced aircraft weight and balance solution. L-DCS provides real-time access to IATA’s Timatic Autocheck service and prevents fines for carrying passengers not holding the correct travel documentation – without causing delays or queues at check-in. Completing the trio is LodeStone, one of the most cost effective Weight and Balance solutions available. LodeStone provides fast, accurate automated optimal loading and trim for efficiency and fuel burn savings.
