James Fazio appointed CEO Aruba Airport Authority

The General Shareholders meeting of Aruba Airport Authority appointed James Fazio CEO of Aruba Airport Authority, the company that manages Reina Beatrix International Airport, effective September 1, 2014. Fazio succeeds Peter Steinmetz, who has been holding the post since 2004.
James Fazio currently is Chief Operations Officer of JFKIAT, the Operator of Terminal 4, at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. In this position Fazio is responsible for all day to day operations and strategic planning for Terminal 4, JFK Airport.
Fazio joint JFKIAT in 1997. Previous he worked for The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in various supervisory positions.

Peter Steinmetz will be joining Stockholm Skavsta Airport in Sweden as CEO.
Schiphol Group and Aruba Airport Authority
In April 2004 Aruba Airport Authority has entered into a Strategic Co-operation Agreement with Schiphol Group, an airport company and manager of amongst others Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
The Strategic Co-operation between the Aruba Airport Authority and Schiphol Group focus on making maximum use of Reina Beatrix International Airport’s commercial potential, to strengthen its financial position and to assist the airport in further developing the facilities on and around the airport, in order to develop Reina Beatrix International Airport into one of the leading airports in the Caribbean.
JFKIAT
JFKIAT, through its sole member, is a partly-owned subsidiary of Schiphol USA Inc. (SUSA), an indirect U.S. subsidiary of Schiphol Group. Terminal 4 at John F Kennedy Airport in New York opened in May 2001 after undergoing a $1.4 billion redevelopment, transforming the former International Arrivals Building (IAB) into an air terminal model for the 21st century.
