New destination Vienna – additional frequencies to and from Amsterdam

The German-Chinese freight airline Jade Cargo International is further expanding its European network. In future, the freight airline will fly from Asia to Vienna and, in addition, increase its frequencies to and from Amsterdam. Prior to this, Jade Cargo International had responded quickly to the economic crisis by reducing capacities and is now taking advantage of newly arising market opportunities.

Lufthansa Cargo will continue to market exclusive capacities at the European destinations of Amsterdam, Barcelona and Brescia. The Lufthansa Cargo customers can thus make use of the complete product and service portfolio of Lufthansa Cargo as well as its extensive flight and trucking network in Europe and China. The successful partnership with Lufthansa Cargo is being supplemented by Jade Cargo International for the additional flights through a new sales cooperation with the Air Logistics Group as well as with Austrian Airlines Cargo.

Partners in Jade Cargo International are Shenzhen Airlines with 51 percent, Lufthansa Cargo with 25 percent and DEG – Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft with 24 percent. The fleet consists of six 747-400ER freighters.
