Mallaghan raises record-breaking £7,000 for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland

Dungannon-based Mallaghan, a global leader in Airport Ground Support equipment manufacturing, has raised £7,000 for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland at its ‘Cars and Coffee’ event – the highest total raised at this annual event to date.

The fundraiser, which took place on 26th April at its Dungannon headquarters, welcomed over 200 cars alongside members of the wider community.

Niall Mallaghan said:

“This year’s Cars and Coffee event was our biggest to date, welcoming record attendance and raising more money than ever before for this vital cause.

“We are committed to making a positive difference in our local community, and Air Ambulance Northern Ireland provides an essential, life‑saving service that strongly aligns with our values of supporting those in need.

“The work carried out by Air Ambulance Northern Ireland has a real and lasting impact, and we are proud to contribute to a service that people rely on in critical moments.

“We would like to thank everyone who attended, donated, and helped make the event such a success. We’re already looking forward to building on this momentum and welcoming even more people to next year’s event.”

Working alongside the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, Air Ambulance NI provides rapid, pre-hospital critical care at the scene of an incident and during transfer to hospital, operating 12 hours a day, 365 days a year.

“Events like Mallaghan’s Cars and Coffee are vital in helping us continue to deliver our life-saving service when and where it is needed most, while also raising awareness of the importance of rapid emergency medical care.
