Company Alstef Group
Date 27.05.2020

Following a successful tender for the hold baggage sorting system overhaul in Terminal 1, Alstef has also been granted with two contracts for the maintenance of the baggage sorting facilities of the two terminals of Marseille Airport until 2028.

A first maintenance contract is associated with Terminal 1 sorting system overhaul and will be implemented gradually following the commissioning of the different phases of the project. The second contract will cover the maintenance of the existing installations of Terminal 1 and Terminal MP2 dedicated to low-cost airlines.

Alstef’s objective will be to ensure maintenance continuity of the 2 terminals installations while supporting at the same time the progressive shift of the flow from the old sorting system in Terminal 1 to the new system, and proper functioning and operation of the airport’s facilities.

Alstef has deployed a maintenance team on site to guarantee preventive and corrective maintenance services. A hotline has also been implemented to complete the system.
