Kristian Björkman will join BT Products AB from January 1st 2014, bringing 18 years of expertise in manufacturing industries in an international environment

Kristian Björkman is today Director of Global Manufacturing at DeLaval (Tetra Laval Group) and is responsible for over 10 international operations including Sweden.

 

  “Mr. Björkman is an enthusiastic, goal-oriented person with a wide international business experience in manufacturing. I believe he can lead our largest site to the next level to optimise operational efficiency based upon well implemented Toyota Production System (TPS) and our continuous improvements initiatives ´Kaizen´. Our aim is to be the first in customer satisfaction in material handling business,” says Matthias Fischer, CEO at Toyota Material Handling Europe, Chairman of the Board, BT Products.

This change was due to the fact that the current MD of BT Products, Anders Claesson, has decided to leave the company for an external position after his four years engagement in the company. 

“I also would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Anders Claesson for his contribution to our development”, says Matthias Fischer.

Anders will leave the position as of December 1st, 2013. Ambrogio Bollini, Senior Vice President Supply at Toyota Material Handling Europe will act as an interim Managing Director during December.
