Material Handling Solutions for Airports

The Préventica Fair is a French roadshow specialising in safety. Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) received the Innovation Award for SpotMe after being chosen as the winner by a jury consisting of representatives from official health organisations, large companies and specialised members of the press. The jury commended the SpotMe warning system for reinforcing the importance of forklift safety in the warehouse.

Thanks to a system of highly sensitive infrared sensors, SpotMe detects the presence of pedestrians and forklift trucks and alerts the operators. If a potential danger is detected, the warning lights start flashing and anybody nearby is immediately informed of the danger, thus substantially reducing the risk of collisions. This not only increases the safety of pedestrians, but also the security of goods, therefore optimising costs. SpotMe is highly effective in noisy environments, too.

This unique risk prevention system is simple to use and easy to install. SpotMe is attached to the structure of the building and interaction from forklift trucks is not required. Therefore, it is compatible with all brand or truck models and works independently, thanks to a long life battery or connection to a power supply. The system requires low maintenance.
