MC Solutions received the Innovation Award 2021
A special edition of Inter Airport in Munich this year for MC Solutions.
The inventor and founder of the company Umberto receives together with Maurizio Cazzani, general manager of MC Solutions, the Innovation Award for the category Data | Digitalisation with their MIA System – Modular Intelligence Airport System.
The international recognition is the confirmation that the airfield light remote monitoring and control system delivers a true innovation on the airfield.
MIA System brings not just compliance to EASA issue 4 DSN.S.890 monitoring and .T.921 Autonomous Runway Incursion, but it contributes as well to decarbonisation.
Specifically the efficiency performed grants the reduction of taxi and holding position time and consequently limiting fuel consumption, reducing air and noise pollution
Furthermore, MIA System is based on sturdy field devices that are engineered with a low consumption design that offers impressive savings in terms of energy and operational costs.
