Saudi Arabian Airlines award Menzies with cargo contract in South Africa

We are delighted to announce that Menzies Aviation in South Africa has been awarded a 3 year contract with Saudi Arabian Airlines cargo handling at Johannesburg O R Tambo International Airport (JNB). In preparation for this, Menzies South Africa recently acquired additional warehousing facilities, ensuring we have the capacity to successfully manage this new business.

Adding to this, the security for both facilities has been upgraded with an offsite monitoring system linked to armed response. Access is controlled by the offsite monitoring system officers who will be able to talk to any intruders, warning them that they are on camera and that armed response police are on their way.

The increased capacity from our second cargo warehouse, a purpose built temperature controlled Pharma zone and the improved security systems have placed Menzies in a strong commercial position to secure new business, with Saudia Arabian Airlines being the latest addition to our customer portfolio.”
