MEP solution improves safety at oil rigs

In close cooperation with partners, MEP developed an integrated solution whereby shore staff members at oil rigs use a Smartphone to be traceable, communicate with operators on shore and be able to communicate with helicopter pilots and captains of a ship. This improved the safety and reduced the amount of devices staff need to carry.

In order to connect all different types of radio technologies to the Evresys app, Evresys teamed up with communication solutions company MEP, and integrated with their high quality communication server, bridging Evresys’ SIP stream to marine, aero and handheld radio transceivers with minimal latency.
